Mission
Monitor local, state and federal legislation affecting the rental industry and provide political advocacy on behalf of the membership to improve the business environment.
Responsibilities

Federal Branch: Participate in monthly NAA Government Affairs Conference Call, Provide delegation adn encourage membership participation at the annual NAA Capitol Conference, Committee Reports to the Board, Encourage membership to contact representatives, Contribute updates to Rental Review and SDMHA Insider Update

State Branch: Represent the association at SDMHA Legislative Day in Pierre SD, Monitor State Legislature and Administration for industry relevant issues, Testify at Legislative Hearings, Encourage membership to contact representatives, Committee Reports to the Board, Contribute updates to Rental Review and SDMHA Insider Update

Local Branch: Monitor Local government and administration for industry relevant issues, Coordinate with local officials, Committee Reports to the Board, Encourage membership to contact elected officials and attend meetings, Contribute updates to Rental Review and SDMHA Insider Update
